Rise-Up Smoothie Bowl

The way you wake up your body in the morning is a reflection of how the rest of the day will be. Taking the time to cut fruits that grown in trees, fiber rich, nutrient dense and colorfully plating them is a go to in the mornings.

INGREDIENTS

FOR THE BLEND

  • 2 frozen bananas

  • 1 frozen mango

  • A bit of water or any nut milk

TRUFFLE BALLS

  • 3 pitted dates (brain power)

  • 1 handful of walnuts, pecans or almonds

  • a dash of love or cinnamon

MAKING THE TRUFFLE BALLS

  1. Mix nuts, dates and cinnamon in a food processor

  2. Process until a paste forms

  3. Form balls with your hands and place them on a platter

  4. Put them in freezer for 15min while you make the blend

MAKING THE BLEND

  1. Mix frozen bananas, mangoes and water in a blender

  2. Blend until smooth and creamy

FOR PLATING

  1. Add the smoothie to a bowl

  2. Place the papaya and kiwi artfully together

  3. Followed by the truffle balls

  4. Sprinkle some of the truffle mixture left over

  5. Pour some honey over it
